Ice Castles

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we went to see the Ice Castles. This was a fun way to celebrate the holiday. Here are some fun pictures from our adventure.

St. George 2014 Day 3

Day 3 - We had to drive home today, but thought we would do something fun with Alissa first. So, we took her to a place with Miniature Golf, Race Cars, and Games. She had a wonderful time.

Race cars -  Daddy started out ahead, but mommy was so fast that she passed him. Alissa was giggling the entire time. So much fun...

St. George 2014 Day 2

Mommy has been to Snow Canyon before, but daddy and Alissa have not. Therefore, mommy thought it would be fun to take everyone to Snow Canyon. We spent some time exploring the area surrounding the Lava Tubes. Mommy wanted to go inside, but was worried it would be too dangerous for Alissa. Therefore, we explored the entrances to the Lava Tubes.
Here is Alissa and mommy inside one of the entrances to the tubes

Mommy climbed the farthest inside one of the tubes while daddy watched Alissa

Next, we spend a few hours hiking up the petrified dunes. We were all exhausted after a long hike across four or five dunes. So much fun.

St. George 2014 Day 1

Mommy had to travel to Richfield and St. George to do some training for some of the supervisors she consults with at work. As a result, we decided to take a mini family vacation. Alissa affectionately calls it "Curious George" because it's difficult to remember the name St. George and so Alissa associates the name with one of her favorite characters. One day after pre-school and daycare, Alissa said, "Are we taking Heber and Rose with us to Curious George?" It took mommy a few minutes to figure out that Alissa was talking about our vacation to St. George.

Day 1 - After mommy's training, we went to the Childrens Museum, had dinner, and finished the night off at a Trampoline Park called "House of Jump." Alissa had a wonderful time. Here are some pics:

Here are some pictures from "House of Jump". Alissa jumped and played for two hours. She even met a really nice kid, who worked there, that spent some time playing with her. So much fun.
