Day 5 - Washington Vacation - Bracketts Landing Beach and Richmond Park

Today, we spend the day with my former supervisor, Norma, who moved to Washington in 2004. We visited Bracket Landing Beach for a low tide walk and Alissa collected all kinds of treasures. Norma brought some shovels and rakes so Alissa could use them to collect sea shells and such. Uncle Brad spent some time showing Alissa some great treasures that he found for Alissa.
Here is Uncle Brad showing Alissa what he found

Norma made us a delicious lunch of Spaghetti. It was so flavorful and declicious. Norma taught us a secret to bringing out all the flavors when using seasoning. You sprinkle the seasoning in the palm of your hand and then rub your hands together as the seasoning falls onto a plate. This brings the flavors out of the seasoning. WOW! Delicious...
After lunch, we all went to Richmond Beach and played a game of tag. There was a super fun playground that overlooks the ocean. There are also lots of walking trails and beautiful trees everywhere. We had a wonderful time.

Day 4 - Washington Vacation - Pompeii Exhibit

We went to the Pompeii Exhibit at the Pacific Science Center with our cousin Alissa and her son Timothy. After seeing the exhibit, Alison had to leave to take Timothy to school. Alissa, Jill and I ate lunch and spend the rest of the day at the Pacific Science Center. We had a wonderful time.

We took Alissa to see the Butterfly house. She was fascinated by all the different butterflies. She really enjoyed spending time looking at the butterfly's to see where they would land. It was fun to take pictures of them as well. Here is a few of them.

Day 2 - Washington Vacation - Archery

Brad and Jill took Alissa and I to Cascade Park, which is owned by the LDS Church. While we were up there, we did archery, rode on a funky swing, and played on a playground. We had a wonderful time. Jill and Brad have their own Bows and arrows, but we rented a little one for Alissa to use. Here are some pictures:

Alissa is ready to try again now that she has collected all her arrows
After a lot of practice, Alissa got closer and closer to the target. This was her best shot. Can you see the arrow in the grass right in front of the target on the right side? I felt this was very good for a five (5) year old learning to use a bow for the very first time.

Me trying to figure out how to use Jill's bow when I would have preferred aiming with my right arm instead of my left. I suppose Jill and I are mirror twins since her left eye is dominant and my right eye is dominant.

Day 1 - Washington Vacation - Imagine Children's Museum

Alissa and I went to Washington to spend a week with Jill & Brad's Family. Since we had "Stand By" tickets, I told Jill not to plan on doing anything with Alissa and I on Friday in case we were unable to get on the airplane. But the travel went so smoothly that Alissa and I arrived in Washington at 11:55 on Thursday, March 26, 2015. So, when Jill went to work on Friday, Alissa and I went with her to work. After Jill introduced us to all her co-workers, Alissa and I walked to a nearby children's museum called "Imagine". Here are some pics of Alissa and I at the museum.
