March 25, 2010 - Alissa is Walking

Alissa took her first two steps for mommy and daddy on Thursday, March 25, 2010. Grandma and Granpa Smith were there too. According to Grandma and Grandpa Diamond, Alissa took a step on March 13th, the day of Mykin's baby shower. According to Gayle Burns, Alissa took a step on March 21st. But, Steve and I don't count those steps because we didn't see them to confirm. So, I am declaring March 25th as Alissa's first official day of walking.

Prior to March 25th, Alissa could walk wherever she wanted to go as long as she was holding on to something. Her favorite "something" is the Winnie The Pooh Airplane that she got for Christmas from Aunt Carol, Uncle Jim, Jamie Soucy, and the rest of the Tyndall family. Princess of the Day 2 - Blessing Day 3-14-10

Alissa was blessed today at 7:00 p.m. at our house. We invited immediate family and a few special guests. Steve's father performed the blessing. My mom purchased the dress, bow, and shoes that Alissa is wearing. Here are some pictures:

Mykin's Bridal Shower 3-13-2010

Mykin, the oldest of all my nieces and nephews, is getting married on April 24, 2010. The family threw her a bridal shower at my house. Jill, Marie, Natalie, and I prepared the invitations, food, decorations, and party favors for the shower. Her are a few pictures:

This is my happy little Alissa, who was having so much fun at the shower!  My mom purchased this cute outfit for her. She is a spoiled little girl. :)
