Alissa took her first two steps for mommy and daddy on Thursday, March 25, 2010. Grandma and Granpa Smith were there too. According to Grandma and Grandpa Diamond, Alissa took a step on March 13th, the day of Mykin's baby shower. According to Gayle Burns, Alissa took a step on March 21st. But, Steve and I don't count those steps because we didn't see them to confirm. So, I am declaring March 25th as Alissa's first official day of walking.
Prior to March 25th, Alissa could walk wherever she wanted to go as long as she was holding on to something. Her favorite "something" is the Winnie The Pooh Airplane that she got for Christmas from Aunt Carol, Uncle Jim, Jamie Soucy, and the rest of the Tyndall family. Here is a video of her walking around with the airplane on Saturday, March 20th.
